I dreamed I had an appointment in Columbia, Maryland with Ruth Glick a human in real life I am not close friends with. We are writing acquaintances. I had a hard time Finding her house and had to park long ways away from her house. In addition for some reason, had a dog in my purse. This was not a tiny dog. This was a big dog, but somehow this dog fit in my purse. So we got to Ruth’s’s house and we talked and then that was it. I don’t remember what we talked about, but I do remember that the dog got out of my purse somehow and took a giant poop in their house. I was mortified. I cleaned up frantically apologized profusely. I went back out and could not find my car. The dog pooped again. I had to clean up the poop again then I decided to use my key fob to try to track down my car. I could hear the car chirping, but I couldn’t find it so I rented a car and drove around, looking for my real car and still couldn’t find it. I woke up coughing and hacking and feeling lousy.
Dreams can often be reflections of our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and concerns, integrating elements of our daily life in unusual ways. Here's a detailed interpretation of your dream:
Appointment and Writing Acquaintance:
Difficulty Finding the House:
Dog in the Purse:
Dog Pooping Indoors:
Losing and Searching for Your Car:
Coughing and Feeling Lousy Upon Waking:
Your dream appears to highlight themes of social anxiety, responsibility, and a fear of losing control. The presence of a literary acquaintance adds a personal or creative element, possibly touching on concerns about communication or self-expression. The dog, representing a burden, seems to disrupt the social interaction, highlighting worries about handling responsibilities or unforeseen issues.
The struggle to find your car and resorting to a rental could signify feeling temporarily disconnected from your usual sense of self or direction, which might resonate with current life challenges or transitions.
Lastly, your physical discomfort upon waking hints that some elements of the dream were influenced by your body's state, but the imagery and themes chosen by your subconscious may still reveal deeper personal insight. Consider reflecting on current challenges or responsibilities in your life and how they align with these dream symbols to find clarity or areas to address.
